San Diego Snack Break: Coconut Milk Poppers

Hey everybody! I just got back from a long holiday vacation, which had followed a long period of writing laziness. I have things to share, but how about something small to ease into it?

These are coconut milk balls that I ate at the Farmers' Market in San Diego. They are little nuggets of coconut milk cooked in something like an ice-cube tray, but rounder. That's it, no other ingredients. They're caramelized, creamy, and sweet, and they sell for a quarter a piece. Besides being delicious, I love the resourcefulness and creativity in a snack like this.
