On And Off New Waters

Today was a lucky day. I'm on a short business trip, and my hotel for the night happened to be hosting a quarterly wine-tasting and artists' showcase. 


I had dinner at Lure: ceviche, then the seared ahi with aioli, asparagus, and sweet potato fries. 


Even in today's meetings I felt welcome and comfortable. I felt happy that, being new to the area, everyone wanted to show me the best of what they had to offer, and what I meant to them. That felt special.
